It is among the most diverse trails in the area, as it crosses through marsh, prairie, pine flatwoods, oak hammock, and other wildlife-rich biomes.

It is a fairly easy trail to explore, as the path is well-maintained and mostly flat. Along the way, there are 11 “Discovery Zones” featuring benches and information kiosks that help travelers connect to the nature around them.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”2/3″][vc_single_image image=”1295″ img_size=”full” alignment=”right”][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”1250″ img_size=”full” alignment=”right” css_animation=”fadeIn”][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/2″][vc_column_text css_animation=”fadeInRight”]The Eco-Walk is a birdwatcher’s paradise. Because of the rich bio-diversity, dozens of local bird species call this park home, including Red-Bellied Woodpeckers, Brown Thrashers, Red-Shouldered Hawks, and Barred Owls. Deer, snakes, and even alligators may be seen here, although interaction is exceedingly rare.

The trail may be wet or soggy, and portions may be damaged due to wild pigs. It is best to wear good shoes and bring a walking stick. Remember to bring plenty of water, as well as sunscreen and bug spray.

The entire trail should take between 30 – 90 minutes.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/3″][vc_single_image image=”1283″ img_size=”760×500″][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/3″][vc_single_image image=”1281″ img_size=”760×500″ css_animation=”fadeInUp”][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/3″][vc_single_image image=”1284″ img_size=”760×500″ css_animation=”fadeInRight”][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner][vc_single_image image=”1285″ img_size=”full” css_animation=”fadeInUpBig”][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row full_width=”stretch_row_content_no_spaces” content_placement=”bottom” parallax=”content-moving-fade” parallax_image=”1254″ parallax_speed_bg=”2.0″ css=”.vc_custom_1492481437978{background-image: url(http://www.christopherstoney.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/IMG_7580.jpg?id=1254) !important;background-position: center;background-repeat: no-repeat;background-size: cover !important;}”][vc_column][vc_empty_space height=”450px”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row content_placement=”middle” el_class=”breakwidth”][vc_column][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner][vc_column_text](The maps/information for the other trails and attractions of the Park would be go in descending order from here.
